Lived 34 yrs in Steamboat Springs, CO. Hired at electric utility not because of my college education but because I had 6 mos mechanical drawing class in my junior year at San Leandro High. Retired in 2007 as CFO. We moved to Loveland, CO to get out of the snow. The Denver Front Range got too crazy and we now live in a golf community in Montrose, CO.
School Story:

Chabot JC, Hayward State. Miss Simms told the councilor that "David should not pursue math in college". I graduated with a BS in Mathematics!

What an amazing artist! I watched the video and just shook my head at everything he created. Bruce led quite a life and he created his own memorial in the forest. It's a loss.

Ken and I were swimmers together, both on the SL High team and on the SL Beavers AAU team. We were also avid bicycle riders. Ken's grandma Beaver lived just outside Santa Cruz. Once a year we would tie a sleeping bag on the back of our bikes and ride the 70 some miles, over the Saratoga Grade, and down to spend a couple nights at her house. Then we would turn around and ride home. Great memories. RIP friend Ken...
