Our friend, Carol Quellmalz Kyle, passed away in August last year after a long illness.  Her daughter and Carol's friends celebrated her life at Carol's home in Rossmoor where she had been a resident for several years.  Carol spent many years in Houston and Dallas, Texas, designing and building a home, raising her daughters and teaching design. She returned to California to be with her ailing father and enjoyed many hours at the pool with him ensuring he could continue what he loved.  At SLHS, Carol participated in clubs, Student Court, and excelled in the classroom.  Throughout her life, Carol's friends counted Carol as their loyal, fun and loving friend for many, many, ... many years.
