Received BA from Cal State, Hayward in 69. Did some graduate work in various areas. I began as a produce buyer for Safeway Stores and had various field assignments along West Coast from Santa Maria, Richmond, Sacramento, Wenatchee, Washington and Los Angeles. Worked on setting up the International Buying office which imports produce from various countries. Also involved in exports of U.S. products to various countries.
Joined William H. Kopke Jr., Inc. in Lake Success, New York. Worked with Chilean fruits imports into Los Angeles
