I was so saddened to hear of Joe's passing.  Joe and I were good friends. We worked on the Anchors Aweigh staff, and Joe wrote the script for our senior play.  Evidently he drowned in a tragic accident in 1999.

Sorry to hear he died at a fairly young age.

Joe was a funny guy.  He often managed to sit in front of me at basketball games.  He thought it was funny to lean against my knees, so I would try to "discourage" him with a teeth-rattling (vigorous) shoulder massage. It was all in fun.  It even continued at college basketball games, only I tried to sit in front of him.  I think I got a few more gentle shoulder massages out of that.  He was sweet and I was a brat!  Fun memories.  Nice guy.  So sorry he is gone.

Joe was surely the 'class clown' in yearbook class. A funny and sensitive guy all in one. AWWW GRRIPPPP. Not sure what that means (hope it's not too offensive), but I have a memory of him saying it/writing it in my yearbook. I was sorry to hear of his early demise.

so very sad!  So we are left to do more. What will we do. Make it kind positive and of benefit to others.
